Nebraska Trip

Its been a couple of weeks since we got to Nebraska so its high time I tell about the trip. We had a great time visiting with everyone and we look forward to doing it again soon. Here is a run-down:
-
1) We got to visit with our great friend, Linda, and her parents the night we flew in. She was leaving the next day for Chicago so we only had an evening together. Linda's parents treated us to a classic Nebraska meal including Omaha steaks, potato, and the sweetest corn ever. It was just what we needed to start off our trip. Thanks also to Rita and Mike for having us over.....so nice of y'all!

2) The next day we had a super yummy lunch at Michael's. Michael is a great cook and it was nice to see her apartment and her dog Sirius. We spent the rest of the day visiting with Liza and Courtney until Tony made it home from work. We got to see some of Courtney's rehearsal for her upcoming musical, Sweet Charity. She was putting together a dance number and I was really impressed with all of her ideas. She makes it look so easy and she is so prolific with her creativity.

3) The whole crew took off Saturday to Scott and Barb's farm. We played a lot of song games on the way up which was very funny (such as the Meow-Meow game.....have to see it to believe it). Only talented people should play these games so that is why I just listened. It was so nice to be on the farm with all the green grass, chickens, and goats. We spent a bit of time in a paddle boat too. Very relaxing and fun.

4) The next few days involved a great visit and meal at Courtney's parent's house, shopping, and putt-putt playing. Liza, Michael, and I had a nice putt-putt game getting some fresh air and exercise while Jason and Tony played bball and Courtney had rehearsal.

You look awesome! Justin and I are still trying to figure out a weekend to come out there. It looks like it's going to be October some time.
