We are closing out summer and moving into the next season (seasons are not something I experienced in Phoenix). We had fun these last couple of weeks to soak in all of the summer fun. We went to the annual family picnic where bocce ball is a must. Jason's team was runner up in the bocce tournament. Then, my dad and mom came into town and we had a lot of fun at the zoo and we also went into the mountains. Mia went to the top of her first 14 thousand foot peak this weekend. We had a lot of fun at the top of Mount Evans. Well, we only stayed on the top for a couple of minutes because it was blowing so hard that I could barely stay on my feet. But we did have fun exploring the high lakes and having pie afterwards.
