Where the Wild Things Are

We went to the Denver Zoo today and this was Mia's first trip to see the animals. She loved it and was pointing at the animals or quietly observing them as she saw them. We went with her friend, Olivia, and Olivia's parents too. Mia really liked the giraffes and we also saw seals, otters, peacocks, and zebras. Mia really only got scared a bit by the howler monkeys. She was not letting go of Dad when she heard those loud monkeys. We can't wait to go back with our season membership. I figured we would go quite a bit since she liked it so much and it will be a real treat as spring and summer start to roll around. Plus, I like the zoo way better than Telletubbies.
